Pippins Pet Care is a small family run establishment set in a quiet cul-de-sac in Lower Quinton, near Stratford upon Avon. Your pet will receive personal, individual care according to your requirements and the needs of the animal.

Guinea pigs will be accommodated in spacious 4ft x 2.5ft cages in the large, insulated shed. You will be asked to supply your own dry food in order to minimise problems caused by changing diet. Fresh hay and vegetables will be supplied on a daily basis. The cages will be cleaned out as necessary, but at least every other day. When the weather allows, your piggies will have time outside on the grass in spacious, fully enclosed runs. Pippins has room for 6 groups of guinea pigs.

Rabbits will be accommodated in 6ft x 2ft x 2ft hutches outside. Again you will need to provide your own dry food; fresh vegetables and hay will be supplied on a daily basis.

There is also a room inside the house for small animals such as hamsters, mice, gerbils, etc. You will have to provide your own cages and food. We also willing to take in exotic pets such as snakes; again you will have provide their own accommodation.

Pippins provide a dog walking service in the Lower Quinton area – this is available as a regular service or an ad-hoc arrangement as required.  Pet sitting for animals such as cats can also be provided in the Lower Quinton area when you go on holiday.

The main person responsible for caring for the animals is Christina Cox. Christina studied animal care at Evesham College where she achieved NVQ and OCN qualifications in Animal Care. She has many animals of her own and her main interest is rabbits and guinea pigs. She volunteers at Hopper Haven and Littlefoot Sanctuary, a rabbit and guinea pig rescue in Redditch. This has greatly enhanced her knowledge of these animals.
